Help & Support - Flickr Images

There are two ways to get images into your Blog using Flickr:

This method presumes you have already configured your Blog in Flickr.

1. Log into Flickr

2. Click to view a specific image. There should be a row of icons above the image - 'Add Note', 'Send to Group' etc. About the 4th one along says 'Blog This'.

3. Click it and you get a drop down list, with your Blog name.

4. Select that, and it will post to your Blog as a new entry.

Insert the Image URL

1. Log into Flickr

2. Click to view a specific image. There should be a row of icons above the image - 'Add Note', 'Send to Group' etc. About the 5th one along says 'All Sizes'. Click the 'All Sizes' icon.

3. You'll get a list of Available Sizes. Click, I'd suggest, 'Small'. It will show you the image, and underneath is a box with the photo's URL.

4. Highlight and copy the URL text.

5. Now log into Arts Blogs.

6. Start a New Entry.

7. On the button bar above the text edit area, click the Insert Image icon (little yellow picture).

8. A window will pop up. Paste your photo's URL into the URL box. Click Insert, your image should appear in the Entry.
